Director General Of Al-Fao Company: Engineering Efficiency Drives Al-Husseiba Al-Sharqiya Water Project Towards (50%) Completion
💦 Engineer Ya'rub Qahtan Al-Awad, Director General of Al-Fao General Engineering Company (a division of the Ministry of Construction, Housing, and Municipalities), announced the continued rapid progress of the Al-Husseiba Al-Sharqiya Central Water Project in Anbar Governorate, which is being implemented for the Ministry's General Directorate of Water.
💦 The Director General explained that the engineering and technical teams have begun implementing a number of vital works, including pouring the walls of the sedimentation basins and the roofs of the underground reservoir, in addition to the chemical and clay buildings. He also noted the ongoing brickwork for the power and high-pressure buildings, along with the completion of the residential units and the administration building.
💦 In reviewing the on-site progress, Al-Awad confirmed that the project is proceeding smoothly, having achieved an actual completion rate of (50%), exceeding the planned rate of (36%). He considered this positive difference a tangible testament to the accumulated experience and high efficiency of the company. It includes the on-site workforce.
💦 It is worth noting that the project was designed with a production capacity of up to (2,000) m³/hour to serve the residents of eastern Anbar. The project consists of two main sites:
THE FIRST: Is the treatment plant, which includes three sedimentation basins, ten filters, an underground tank, as well as specialized buildings, workshops, and operators' quarters.
THE SECOND: Is the intake station, which includes a low-pressure building and power station, and is connected to four transmission lines with a range of up to (25) km.
