Wasit Prepares To Open A New Residential Complex: (453) Housing Units In The Al-Aziziyah Complex Enter Final Stages

Engineer Ya'rub Qahtan Al-Awad, Director General of Al-Fao General Engineering Company (one of the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Municipalities), announced that the Al-Aziziyah residential complex project in Wasit Governorate has reached a very advanced stage of implementation. He explained that the work is being carried out for the benefit of the Ministry's Housing Department according to the highest technical standards.

 

Project Details And Figures:

Al-Awad explained that the complex represents a fully integrated mini-city, comprising:

Housing Units: (453) housing units designed to meet the needs of Iraqi families.

Comprehensive Service Facilities: These include three schools, a health center, a mosque, a kindergarten, a commercial market, and an administrative building.

Advanced Infrastructure: This includes potable water networks and modern systems for rainwater drainage and sewage.

 

Current Implementation Status:

The Director General confirmed that the actual completion rate has reached (93%), noting that the engineering and technical teams are currently working on the final finishing touches in all project facilities. He added that the pace of work is proceeding very smoothly to ensure the project is delivered within the specified timeframes, as it falls within the priorities of the government program for this year to strengthen the housing sector in the country.
