The Second Session Of The Company’s Board Of Directors (2024)
On Monday, February 26, 2024, Engineer Imad Tawfiq Al Mirza, Director General and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Fao General Engineering Company, chaired the second session of the company’s Board of Directors meeting (2024), in the presence of ladies and gentlemen members. At the beginning of the session, the Chairman of the Board welcomed them all.
Session Agenda
- Review the paragraphs of the previous report and the actions taken regarding them.
- Discussing the reality of the work of the current projects implemented by the company in Baghdad and the governorates, especially residential complex projects, where the General Manager emphasized that the company has formed several committees for the purpose of monitoring the speed of completion of these complexes and resolving the issue of the stalled ones as quickly as possible.
- The General Manager reviewed the results of his field visits to the company’s projects in the northern and central Euphrates governorates, and informed him of the reality of business there, solving all the problems obstructing the work, and his meeting with the Governor of Muthanna, and the positive results that emerged from this meeting.
- The Director General stressed the need for governorate project managers to work with governors and governorate councils for the purpose of obtaining new job opportunities for the company.
- Mr. Chairman of the Council explained that appropriate measures have been taken to reduce and rationalize expenses, and there will be a standard for granting rewards to those entitled to them, according to a specific financial ceiling.
- Discussing the issue of the necessity of optimal exploitation and investment of the company’s properties.
- Reviewing the work position of the Machinery and Production Department and the financial, supervisory, administrative and media position of the company, and appropriate measures were taken regarding it.
