Mr. General Manager: A New Hospital Is Coming To Life.. Al-Fao General Engineering Company Begins Construction Of A Hospital In Babylon
As part of its ongoing efforts to improve the health infrastructure in Iraq, Al-Fao General Engineering Company has begun work on a new project to build a (50)-bed hospital in the Nile District of Babylon Governorate. This project is part of enhancing medical and health services provided to the residents of the Nile District and neighboring areas. Al-Fao Company will implement it according to the latest engineering and technical standards and specifications.
Engineer Ya'rab Qahtan Al-Awad, General Manager of Al-Fao General Engineering Company, stated that the company's engineering and technical staff in Babylon Governorate have begun work on implementing the hospital building project in the Nile District. He explained that the hospital will have a capacity of (50) beds and will be constructed on an area of eight dunams.
✅ He added that the hospital consists of five floors and a basement and includes (two doctors' rooms, an emergency hall, an outpatient pharmacy, a sterilization unit, a laboratory, an x-ray unit, major and minor operating rooms and delivery rooms, in addition to a delivery recovery room). The work also includes heating and cooling systems, medical gases, fire extinguishing, electrical systems, and medical waste. The hospital will be equipped with nine elevators to facilitate the movement of patients, visitors, and staff between floors.
✅ The project cost approximately (30) billion dinars, and the implementation period will be (1,000) days. It is worth noting that Al-Fao Company is currently rehabilitating and developing (4) hospitals in Baghdad and Maysan. It previously implemented the (260)-bed Children's and Maternity Hospital in Maysan Governorate, which is considered one of the largest specialized hospitals in the governorate.
