Al-Fao General Engineering Company's Achievements: (33) Completed Projects And Over (50) New Contracts
Engineer Ya'rub Qahtan Al-Awad, Director General of Al-Fao General Engineering Company (A Division Of The Ministry Of Construction, Housing, And Municipalities), announced exceptional achievements for (2025), confirming the company's completion of (33) strategic projects across diverse sectors.
Al-Awad explained that these projects were implemented for high-level and sovereign entities, including the Prime Minister's Office, the Ministries of Oil, Planning, Construction, Housing, and Municipalities, as well as the Baghdad Municipality and the Service and Engineering Effort Team. He stated that the projects were completed according to approved technical specifications and within the specified timeframes, despite significant challenges, primarily insufficient funding from some beneficiaries.
Overcoming Obstacles and Revitalizing Stalled Projects
The Director General noted that successful management and the efficiency of the engineering staff enabled the company to overcome crises through "Strategic Maneuvering" of human and financial resources. The company also succeeded in reviving projects that had been stalled or delayed for many years, and implemented radical solutions to resolve their outstanding issues.
Strategic Partnerships And New Job Opportunities
In the context of maximizing the company's resources, Al-Awad revealed the signing of partnership agreements with reputable investment companies, in parallel with securing more than (50) new projects and job opportunities, as a result of continuous efforts with both the public and private sectors.
Al-Awad concluded his statement by emphasizing that (2025) was a truly "year Of Achievements," expressing the company's ambition for (2026) to be a year of further successes that will contribute to the flourishing of the engineering sector in Iraq.
