Despite The Challenging Soil Conditions And Narrow Alleyways, Al-Fao's Staff Continues Working To Improve Services In Baghdad
🔷 Engineer Ya'rub Qahtan Al-Awad, Director General of Al-Fao General Engineering Company, announced the continuation of engineering and technical efforts to implement the "Pressure Street" rehabilitation project in the Sabaa Qusour area in Baghdad. This project, undertaken by the service and engineering team, is part of a plan to improve infrastructure in the most underserved areas.
🔷 He emphasized that the work package includes a comprehensive infrastructure upgrade, starting with the installation of main and secondary sewage and water networks, extending to curb work, paving of streets and their branches, and paving of sidewalks with interlocking pavers.
🔷 He revealed that the completion rate for the sewage network has reached approximately (80%), and work is progressing at an accelerated pace despite the technical challenges posed by high groundwater levels and limited space that hinders the movement of heavy machinery.
🔷 Emphasizing the commitment of Al-Fao General Engineering Company to harness all its energies to complete the projects entrusted to it, stressing that the ultimate goal is to alleviate the suffering of the areas that have faced a severe shortage of services throughout the past years, and recalling the company’s record full of achievements with the service effort team in Baghdad and the governorates.
