Al-Fao Continues Street Development In Al-Shaab: (2,000) Meters Of New Roads In Baghdad

Engineer Ya'rub Qahtan Al-Awad, Director General of Al-Fao General Engineering Company (a division of the Ministry of Construction, Housing, and Municipalities), confirmed that work is ongoing on the project to develop and rehabilitate several streets and alleys in the Al-Shaab district of Baghdad. The project is being implemented by the company under the supervision of the Baghdad Municipality – Al-Shaab Municipality Department.

 

🔷 Key Current Projects:

- Paving of Al-Daght Street in Al-Kufa neighborhood, a (2,000) meter stretch with a width of 8 meters. This includes the side and median curbs, sidewalks, and stormwater drainage networks.

- Continued work on the following streets: Umm Al-Kubra, Al-Ghazlan, Al-Basatin, Aden, and Fahmi Al-Mudarris.

🔷 Staff Efforts:

Engineering and technical teams are working late into the night to ensure the rapid completion of this important service project, which aims to provide the best possible services to citizens.

🔷 As Part Of The "Baghdad Is More Beautiful" Campaign:

This project is part of the "Baghdad Is More Beautiful" campaign, which aims to improve the city's overall appearance and develop its infrastructure.

🔷 Project Scope:

- Development of Aden Street and Fahmi Al-Mudarris Street from Sabah Al-Khayyat Square to Al-Mashatel Street.

- Development of Al-Daght Street (Neighborhood 345) in Umm Al-Kubr and Al-Ghazlan, and Neighborhood (329) in Al-Kufa District.

- Rehabilitation and development of Alley (3) (Neighborhood 348) in Al-Basatin District.

 

With This, Al-Fao General Engineering Company continues its efforts to achieve comprehensive development and enhance the quality of life in Al-Shaab District and Baghdad as a whole.
