ENGINEER EMAD MOHMED ABDULLAH, GENERAL MANGER OF AL-FAO GENERAL ENGINEERING COMPANY, VISITS THE DUJAIL WATER PROJECT IN SALAH AL-DIN GOVERNORATE

 

Engineer Emad Mohamed Abdullah, General Manager of Al-Fao General Engineering Company, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works, paid a field visit to the Dujail Water Project in Salah Al-Din Governorate, which is being implemented by the company for the benefit of the Ministry's General Directorate of Water, and was briefed on all the project's facilities.

 

Where Eng. Saleh Khudair Salem, North Projects Manager, gave a detailed explanation of all the project's paragraphs. The Director General praised the great efforts made by the executive staff of the project and praised the accuracy of implementation and the adoption of international standards approved and followed in the implementation of water projects. The productivity of the project is (4000) cubic meters / hour, and the current completion rate is about (77) %, and the current works are:

1) Casting the final roof of the filters building

2) The terminations of the acid cache for building chemicals

3) Extending intake lines from the river to the low-draft building

4) Installing pumps and accessories for the low-draft building

5) Burial sedimentation basins

6) Scraping the site and preparing streets and squares

7) Installing gantry cranes for the chemical workshop building

 

On the other hand, Eng. Saleh Khudair Salem, North Projects Manager, mentioned that this project consists of:

1) Low-thrust and high-thrust structures

2) Four sedimentation basins

3) Backwash basin

4) Underground tank

5) Filters and chemicals building

6) Workshop building, energy and administration

7) The role of engineers and operators' number three

8) Inquiries Building

9) Security fence

10) A network of lines carrying clear water from the pumping station to the high reservoir sites, with a length of (50) km

 

                              At the end of the visit, the Director General thanked all the workers in this project
